The Permanent Mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the European Union met on 7 December with the European Council General Director, Mrs Christine Roger.

Director Christine Roger is very familiar with the field activities of the Order of Malta and has always expressed great appreciation. She is in charge of the migrations dossier and the discussion therefore focused on the draft Migration Pact, which is still in a shuttle process between the Council, the European Parlament and the Commission.

Many topics were discussed, including the worrying chaos prevailing in the Middle-East and the European governance (enlargement, conflict in Ukraine).
